There is a nice story in this month’s online Scottish Curler about our very own Bob Sherrard. It tracks his progress from watching the Olympic curling in 2014, which inspired him to go along to a come and try session, onto joining a virtual club, then established clubs in his area and finally, being Irish, to the ICA. The icing on the cake was Bob joining Peter Wilson’s mens championship-winning squad last month giving him the opportunity to curl internationally later this year.
