MD lost game 7 but qualified

Final round robin game for the Irish duo at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships in Lethbridge, Canada 🇨🇦.

Coach Eoin McCrossan photo bombs the official team picture.

Although the game was lost to Norway, they did manage to get the last space in the qualifying teams. WCF says “The 16th team to qualify was then decided by looking at the draw shot challenge results of all the teams that finished in fourth place, across the groups. Ireland earned this 16th position with a draw shot challenge (DSC) result of 20.13cm, which was better than Japan, Australia, England and Slovenia.”

The team will now play Korea in the 1/8 final round on Friday at 9am.
