Held at Örnsköldsvik, Sweden 6-13th December 2008.

This was the fifth European Curling Championships for Ireland since official recognition by the ECF & WCF in 2003.

The Irish National Mens team competed in the A league and consisted of

* John Furey      (Lead),
* David Smith	  (Alternate),
* Ron Meyers      (Coach),
* Louise Kerr     (Admin).

Unfortunately we finished 9th in the A league, which means relegation back to the B league next year.
