Held in Claut, Italy from 16-20th October 2006.

This was Ireland's second European Mixed Curling Championships.

The Irish Mixed team competing were
* Johnjo Kenny,
* Marie O'Kane,
* Tony Teirney,
* Mary Kerr.

Ireland's team won three of their five games in Group C. They went on to win 2 qualifying matches against Germany, then Latvia to get to the quater finals, but lost to Sweden. They finished 7th out of 23 teams which was a fantastic achievement.

* Lost 2-5 to Gemany
* Won 10-3 against Kazikstan
* Won 11-4 against Netherland
* Won 9-5 to Latvia
* Lost 3-9 to Russia

* Won tie-breaker 5-4 against Germany
* Won 2nd tie-breaker 9-1 against Latvia

* Lost quater final 2-3 against Sweden
