Held at Greenacres, Scotland from 29th Oct to 1st Nov 2008.

This was the inaugural European Seniors Invitation Curling Championships and we entered two womens teams and one mens team.

There were 18 mens and 11 womens teams competing from 12 countries.

The ICA Senior Womens teams competing were
* Fiona Turnbull, Jane Paterson, Kathie Nixon, Isobel Fyfe.
* Marie O'Kane, Carolyn Hibberd, Gillian Drury, Liz Crabbie, Pat Wood.

Marie O'Kane’s team finished the round robin at the top of their group with three wins and one defeat. They got to the semi finals but lost to Kirsty Letton of Scotland.

Marie O'Kane's results - Jacqui Crawford (Scotland), 9-11, Margaret Cameron (Scotland) 5-4, Mary Barr (Scotland) 8-7, Kay Thomson (England) 8-7, Kirsty Letton (Scotland) 8-10.

Fiona Turnbull’s team finished the round robin third in their group with three wins and two defeats.

Fiona Turnbull's results - Sylvia van der Pluijm (Netherland) 8-7, Marion Craig (Scotland) 11-5, Kirsty Letton (Scotland) 4-12, Kay Gib (Scotland) 3-8, Elizabeth Scott (Scotland) 10-5.

The ICA Senior Mens team were:
* Tony Tierney, David White, David Smith, Gordon McIntyre, Gordon Lusk.

Tony Tierney's team finished the round robin second in their group with four wins and one defeat. They got to the mens quater finals but lost to Gary MacFarlane of Scotland.

Men's Results - Gary MacFarlane (Scotland) 3-9, Wim Neeleman (Netherland) 5-4, Claes Roxin (Sweden) 7-8, David Clydesdale (Scotland) 6-5, Jim Beckett (Scotland) 9-6, Marko Ruottu (Finland) 10-5.
