Held at Greenacres Ice Rink in Scotland on 11-12th November 2006.

The 4th Gormac Irish International was won by John Wilson and his junior team when they defeated Robin Gray’s European team in the final.

Craig Reid and his team from the Galleon won the middle road final. The low road final was the highlight of the weekend competiton, won by Peter Wilson and his team (a mix of Scots/Irish). Going to the last stone in the last end,a perfect draw round a guard onto the pot lid to win the game .Of course Peter loved every minute, as we had a large audience watching the finals.

This year, as well as teams from the four home nations,we had a team of ladies from Poland competing for the first time to complete the sixteen team entry

With the Saturday night’s meal and entertainment,it was agreed that the Gormac Irish Weekend was a success and that we look forward to seeing everybody back next season.
