Held at Lanarkshire Ice Rink, Hamilton, Scotland from 6th-8th October 2006.

The Irish Men's team was Robin Gray, Johnjo Kenny, Neil Fyfe, P J Wilson with Tony Tierney as the alternate player. They took part in the first of two weekends in the RCCC Men's Mini Tour Competition.

They played 3 games:
- Won 7-4 against John Summers (Braehead),
- Lost 6-7 against Craig Reid (Galleon),
- Won 5-3 against Jamie Dick.

This took them to the quarter finals where they lost 5-6 to Drew Howie (Greenacres).

A superb effort by the team who are looking forward to competing in the next weekend at Kilmarnock.
