Held in Vierumäki, Finland from 8th to 16th March 2008.

This was the forth World Seniors Curling Championships for Ireland since official recognition by the ECF & WCF in 2003 and we entered both a womens & mens team.

There were 18 mens and 10 womens teams competing.

The ICA Senior Womens team competing were
* Fiona Turnbull,
* Jane Paterson,
* Isobel Fyfe,
* Kathie Nixon.
The senior women’s team finished ranked seventh with four wins and five defeats.

Women's results - Canada 3-5, England 9-3, Finland 6-7, Japan 6-3, New Zealand 13-4, Scotland 7-9, Switzerland 4-8, Sweden 6-5, USA 8-10.

The ICA Senior Mens team competing were
* Tony Teiney,
* David Whyte,
* David Smith,
* John Burns.
Ireland's senior men played in the Blue Group and finished ranked seventh overall with five wins and three defeats.

Men's Results - England 6-5, Finland 5-6, Iceland 8-2, Italy 8-3, Norway 8-3, New Zealand 8-7, Scotland 2-9, USA 2-11.
