Dublin Come & Try Event

We are delighted for the opportunity to showcase curling on home soil once again.

The temporary ice rink at Tallaght Stadium in South Dublin is the venue for 2 days of curling on Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th January 2019. Why not come and try the sport for yourselves?

Please note that there is a limit to the number of people allowed on the ice at each session, so, to guarantee you get to try curling, please book a session. However you can also just come to spectate and chat to members of the Irish Curling Association. We will be delighted to see anyone interested in curling at the Tallaght Stadium.

Book a 2 hour come and try session with qualified curling coaches. See below for our 2 day programme. In the meantime if you have any questions contact us on comeandtry@irish-curling.org

We are delighted to provide the following dedicated school ‘come and try’ sessions.

On Thursday, between 4pm and 6pm, there will be a short demonstration game involving an Olympic curler and World and European gold medallists. At the same time, there will also be a ‘come and try’ for VIPs and the media, followed by a reception.
This event is part of the World Curling Association Olympic Celebration Tour and those taking part in the come and try sessions or attending the demonstration game, will have the chance to meet and talk to the Olympic curler.

Ireland has been competing in international competition since 2004. Our teams have won gold, silver and bronze at World and European level. Irish international players will be in Tallaght Stadium daily to help coach and tell you more about Irish curling.
