And we are off….to the Euros!

Hard to get our pandemic-hardened heads round this, but an Ireland men’s team are heading to Switzerland shortly to represent their country at the WCF European C League Championships.

John Wilson, Kyle Paradis, Arran Cameron and Craig Whyte are travelling to Geneva having had a weekend warm up on the ice at Dumfries.

There are ten countries in the draw – so the Irish boys will have a busy week. The medal winners – gold, silver and bronze – will qualify their countries for the European B League.

Play starts on Sunday, September 12 with the finals on Friday, September 17.

As usual, we will be having a Profile feature on our players in the emerald green.
